Maimorne Conundrum or Bertie for short was a horse I heard about by word of mouth. He was a 15.2hh TB X by Chiddock Fankino and had previously been 2nd at the HOYS at Wembley in the Lloyds Bank In Hand Championship. He had also qualified for Wembley as a Small Hunter at the Three Counties Show. His full brother was the well known show hunter pony Maimorne Zastrozzi.

I owned Bertie for 2 seasons and we had quite a lot of success together winning several Small Hunter classes, Riding Horse classes and Championships. Unfortunately he missed qualifying for the RIHS when we competed at the Royal Bath & West.

Bertie was sold to a good friend of mine but was sadly involved in an accident that meant he had to retire from the show ring.
