Taif was a Registered Irish TB by Habitat, and raced over hurdles before I had him. I bought him to make a Large Show Hack but he grew over-height. Luckily I soon discovered that he had an enormous jump and within 6 months he was clearing 5ft show jumps.

I also competed Taif in Hunter Trials where he always went clear, and once he had more experience I jumped him in local show jumping Speed classes which he excelled at. As Taif had such a big jump and obviously quite a bit of potential I sold him to an Eventing home.

Not long after I sold him I saw a photo of him in a magazine where he was out hunting and looking to be having a wonderful time. I still miss Taif to this day as he was a lovely looking horse, a nice ride and a wonderful Jumper.
