Little Edward aka Teddy is a 10.3hh, 10 year old Dartmoor Pony. He was a pony that I rescued from the meat trade when he was just a few months old. He has always been very quiet, laid back and easy to handle, although he has got a big buck which he likes to show off in the field! He is also extremly fast and can jump well as he proved by hopping over the sheep wire we have protecting our new trees!

He was broken in and was being ridden out by two sons of a friend of mine, then unfortunately the foot and mouth broke out and that was the end of that. Unfortunately I have yet to find a rider for him but he is very happy turned out daily with his girlfriend - Kir!

On the right is a photo of Teddy on the day he was rescued. He is actually now brown in colour but was more of a liver chestnut when I first got him.
