Kir produced 'Woody' a chestnut colt foal by Deanhills Royal Portrait, between 12.30am & 1.30am on Saturday 17th April 2004.

I was actually in the house having a 30 minute nap as although she was showing all the signs she was going to foal sometime in the night she was totally settled and was eating her hay when I left her! I returned 1 hour later to find baby clean and getting to his feet. She did it all on her own and he's quite a strapping lad so not bad for a Maiden mare.

Woody is now a 2 year old grey gelding. I have been hoping to show him since 2004 but due to some 'handling issues' have yet to get him in a ring! Fingers are crossed for this year!
